Hi, I have a question. I am adnidg a text on an image using imagick in PHP, then try to do the same thing with FPDF and create a PDF document with exactly the same content as the image (the text i mean), but with vectorial text. I noticed that, even though I use the same fonts and font sizes, if I overlay the vectorial text over the image annotated text, the image text is slightly wider with some fonts, especially in lowercase. I think it’s something related to the way the text is rendered in imagick, it seems to leave more space between the letters? So.. can I do something about it?
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
